A short burst of creativity, a shoebox full of bricks, and an hour or so later (it takes time to dig through a shoebox of pieces), we have Grandpa’s Cabin. This will most likely end up as part of the rather large layout that we have been talking about in my introduction thread…minus the baseplates of course.

The old busted up truck in the yard. Wouldnt be complete without a cinder block holding it up, a missing wheel, and a missing engine, right?

Shot from the back. It is hard to see, but there is just a hole in the wall where a window should be.

I like the broken fence. You could also use 1×8 black tiles rather than plates although that might make the fence look too “clean”.

I am open to any suggestions to improve things, but yes that may make things look too clean.

I know this post is real old.. .but your MOC looks good. And I think that plants always make things look alive and just add to a scene. Especially a scene like that.

Thanks, Kevin. I do have bushes that could be placed on there.
