I figure I’d start a thread for all the ridiculously priced items I come across on Bricklink. Some of these prices are just staggering.

I’ve sold 2 of the blacktron 2×2 tiles with grille pattern for $20 each.
I’ve sold 2 white hoses with tabless ends for $20 each.
    I’ve sold a black 4 x 4 x 6 quarter cylinder for $20.
I’ve sold the light bluish gray 1 x 4 x 5 right door with trans clear glass for $35, $45, and then for $50.

And now I’ve found the 2×2 slope 45 degree in Maersk blue only has 4 listed and the cheapest is $16.99. I see 1 sold for .04 in the past 6 months…but that’s it. I have 1, but I think I have more…

Does Mr. Gold belong on this list?

How does a part go from .04 to $16.99? Someone must’ve been trying to get rid of stolen merchandise quick and listed at rock bottom prices…

Wow, them some crazy prices. These details are good to know … I think I have the Krusty Krab with the kray kray door. Of course, they could get dozens of the same door in black for under a dollar.

I could not find the 2×2 blacktron tile with grille pattern on bricklink.

So close, yet so far. Bought these from S@H several years ago.

http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?P=3068bp07&colorID=3 is the blacktron tile. looks like prices have gone down.

here’s another ridiculous oddity of bricklink. Not only is the price of a dark blue 1 x 8 x 2 arch ridiculous due to being in modulars, but check out those used avg prices versus new. It’s ludicrous!

Another expensive arch, this one came only in Doc Ock’s hideout:

I have six in a church spire. Who knew, right?

just had these 2 parts sell. Both part of the cafe Corner. Rule of thumb: if it was in a modular, people will buy them up.

You can get a sound brick that makes a “space sound” for $0.50 but if you want an identical looking part that plays the “carousel sound,” the lowest bricklink price is $168.00. That’s almost as much as an EpiPen!

I thought we had a thread for this already, but I can’t find it.

I listed some duplicate CMFs I had today, and my bumblebee girl sold right away…looks like the cheapest one in the US is $32!!! people must really like her!

    https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=col10-7#T=S&O={%22ss%22:%22US%22,%22loc%22:%22US%22,%22rpp%22:%2250%22,%22iconly%22:0}

I figure this could be a good thread to post those parts that we might have that might be worth selling if you have them…

I actually sold a used bumblebee girl just a couple weeks ago and got $16 for her even though she had a dent on her face and no honey pot. I was surprised by her worth also.

One very expensive part that I have kept an eye on is this one piece that only appears in the first UCS Snow Speeder set. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=44570&C=13#T=S&C=13&O={%22color%22:13,%22iconly%22:0} Lowest price is $100.

what in the world! that’s insane!

I’ve run into a few parts that I thought were expensive during my time bricklinking some old modulars but nothing that crazy. Here’s a couple:

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=73435c01&C=86#T=C&C=86 doors from cafe corner, ~$17/ea

    https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=59362&C=88#T=C&C=88 a hairpiece for ~$6.50

(still looking for those parts actually bc I haven’t brought myself to spend that much on 1 part)

I’ve sold a few big ticket minifigs, off the top of my head there was Deadpool for $25 and Davy Jones for $75. Coincidentally, the only minifgs I want to buy at this time are CMFs to finish off series and they’re like $15+ (medusa, forest maiden, grandma, pharaoh).
