    Hi Folks,

My name is Dan and I’m a Greenfield Lego enthusiast along with my two kids. Most of what we build are mechanical contraptions and my younger son loves to make Star Wars ships (original and kits) and battle droid scenes.

I’ve created a new block building system that is Lego compatible and would love to show it to other Lego enthusiast for feedback. See the attached photo for sample bots made with my design and Legos. I love creating new designs and 3D printing them and I think there’s a lot of room for community development of the Lego system.

I’m looking forward to meeting all of you at a meetup or other event.

    Dan

Hello, Dan, and welcome. You just missed our Second Quarter LUG meeting but that is OK. There are many events coming up over the next several months so if any are of interest, we would love to see you sometime. There is also fairly constant activity in our Discord. 🙂

Hi Dan. That’s a neat looking system! Reminds me of the Bionicle and older Znap series. We look forward to seeing it in person at an upcoming event. Over in Lego train world (which is my main area of work), 3d printers have done a lot to help the hobby. I know one guy that used a 3d printer to make real functional knuckle type connectors that fit on Lego trains. So keep up the development. There are some Bionicle fans here who may certainly be glad to help you with feedback.
