Alan HollisParticipantHi everybody,
I saw there is already an Allen H in your group, so just to keep things confusing, I’m the other Alan H (notice the spelling).
I’m still pretty new to Pittsburgh, moved to Lebo last year from Maryland, and I’m excited to join your community. My favorite classic themes are Pirates and Castle (or more specifically Imperial Soldiers and Wolfpack), but nowadays I’m more focused on modulars and some Star Wars.
Cheers,

Gabe VisticaParticipantWelcome! If you think Allen and Alan will be confusing, just wait until you meet Tim from Cranberry and Tim from Cranberry!
Our Q3 quarterly meeting is coming up in a few weeks, and since the LUG was founded in Q3 (many years ago) it’s our big birthday celebration meeting, so be sure to RSVP! There’s a forum thread kicking around for it someplace, the title definitely includes “Q3” and probably also includes “2025”.

DanParticipantWelcome Allen! I’m also a Classic Pirates and Castle fan, but I mostly focus on space at this point. Do you do any MOCing?

DelParticipantHello everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Del from USC (Upper St Clair). I have just recently revived my life long love of Lego’s and building. It has changed so much over the years since my first set as a kid (in the 70’s, that included only primary colored bricks and a thick green base plate) LOL, I love the Star Wars collection, wish I had the space for all of the USC’s but I don’t. I am also striving to create an extraordinary LEGO cityscape, inclusive of trains, countryside, mountains, and a thriving downtown area. (Of course, I am nowhere near that yet.) I also am just learning about the modular builds (via youtube and reels) I am amazed by how far it all has come. I also have just started building my first MILS plates (???) for my town/city builds. We will see how that goes!
I look forward to making some great connections here with you all.Del B

Ken Soriano-ClarkParticipantWelcome, Alan & Del.
Hope you both can make the Q3 meeting!
The build challenge for the event is to create a graveyard plot. Link takes you to the details.

Nancy Flury CarlsonParticipantWelcome to Alan and Del. You have found a great LUG here. I won’t be at Q3, unfortunately, because of travel, but I hope to meet you at a future event.
