Shared this on Discord as I try to get the hang of the app. This is the Phoenix 1 GT.
Family suggested after designing and building so many real world cars, to try building the concept car I designed when I was a kid.

Basic stats, if it were real: 24 cylinder, 4 turbo engine. 2500hp. 8sp transmission, AWD. Weight of 3500 lbs. Low drag. Top speed 444 mph. Fuel mileage? 5 mpg… hence the 70g race tank it’ll need in real life.

Considering what Bugatti, Koenigsegg, and others are doing with insanely massive engines, these numbers are doable today, if not necessarily realistic back when I was a kid. It’s styled after the classic road racer front swoopy nose and rear slope for aero and easy access to the mid engine for competition use. It’s one purpose as a MOC is to show Lego Speed Champions’ whose boss when it comes to the streets.

Finished building the Phoenix 1 GT. It’s a great model IRL. That dark blue is beautiful.

Looks great! Real bricks will always look better than the rendering IMHO. Great headlight design.

Thanks. The more curve slope pieces Lego makes in transparent colors, the more options I can have without resorting to custom stickers. 🙂
