Hi! I’m going through old sets and figuring out what I have space for after moving, and some don’t fit in the long term plans. I don’t have a BrickLink store, so I’m seeing if anyone local is interested in the 10236 Ewok Village from 2013, new in sealed box. The box is in good shape, photos included. I’m asking $750 which is equal to the lowest-price NISB on BL.

I would also consider trades, with my wish list focused on Icons/modular, Ideas, and Ninjago City (in particular the sets retiring soon).

    Thanks,
    Alan H in Lebo

Hi Alan, I’m Melissa a new member. I build all kinds of sets, but love sets based on movies. LEGO buildings are pretty awesome too. I was curious about what other sets you were looking for in order to make trade for the Ewok village. Thanks. Nice meeting you. Melissa

    Hi Melissa,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m interested in modular buildings/icons and similar buildings from the ideas theme. In particular sets that are about to retire or already did. Specific sets I’m looking for:
    – 10251 Brick Bank
    – 10312 Jazz Club
    – 43242 Snow White 7 Dwarves Cottage
    – 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay
    – 10320 Eldorado Fortress

I’m also looking for these current sets, with the thought that if I trade away the Ewok Village I’m not paying for these out of pocket.
    – 10350 Tudor Corner
    – 10326 Natural History Museum
    – 21353 Botanical Garden

My preference is new condition sets, but if you have any of the above used/good condition I would still be interested.

    Thanks,
    Alan

Alan, great to hear back from you. I very much like these buildings too. My brother has a very big Lego trains and buildings setup at his home in Texas and he asks me to always be on the lookout especially for the buildings. I will talk to him about what he thinks we can trade or what he hasn’t built yet and maybe he can send them up to me. I know he was disappointed in some of the newer buildings and their lack of detail, especially inside the actual buildings themselves. I will definitely get back to you in a few days with what him and I can come up with for you. Thanks again. Melissa

Alan, good news. I have access to: Jazz Club, Tudor Corner, Snow White Cottage, and Eldorado Fortress all brand new still in boxes. I know mostly about buildings and houses and how their values jump once retired. I was wondering which of these set combinations you were most interested in as trade for the Ewok village. I didn’t want my brother sending 2 sets from Texas if you would rather have particular set more at this time. Please get back to me and let me know. Thanks again. Melissa

    Hi Melissa,
Eldorado Fortress has gone up in value a bit since retirement, currently looks like $250 NISB from US sellers. Would you agree to Jazz Club, Snow White Cottage, and Eldorado Fortress as a fair trade for Ewok Village at $750?
    Thanks,
    Alan

Hi Alan, I do think that the three sets together (Jazz Club, Snow White Cottage, and Eldorado Fortress) would be fair trade considering that they are all still sealed in boxes. Given the weekend, it might be a week until the one set makes its trek here from my brother’s place in Texas and then we can setup a meeting place. Sound okay?

One of my favorite sets, would love to have NIB but I’m glad to have 2 used (well, 1.75, missing some pieces)

Alan, it looks like ups should get the one set to my house from Texas on Wednesday or Thursday provided it doesn’t get handed over to usps, which they sometimes have a tendency to do now. It’s not cool when they do that especially without you knowing, but we can be hopeful for a meet up and trade come Friday or the weekend. I’m on top of it and will continue to track it. Thanks so much, Melissa
