    I was curious who uses this functionality, and if you didn’t use it, maybe it’s because you just don’t know about it.

    We (a few of us) add LUG activities on the Steel City LUG gmail calendar, and you can add it as an overlay to your own gmail calendar (or any calendar). You can either view it here (from the calendar in the top menu) https://www.steelcitylug.com/gcalendar/

    and you can subscribe to it to show on whatever you use.

    I also added .ics functionality to shifts/events, so you can add all of the shifts you’re signed up for to your calendar too. is that over kill? Does anyone think that helps them?

    I’ve had it linked to my gmail calendar since whenever we started it. My life is managed less by that calendar these days because wifey prefers the physical calendar on the wall of the kitchen, but it’s still nice to have.
