Bob GrierParticipant@timf, as I mentioned in an earlier post, don’t forget that we also have over 24,000 1×1 bricks in a variety of colors that we ordered as part of Project Support for Mosaics last year. There are something like 45 different colors in quantities that range from 400 to 600 per color.
As Krista advised these are currently at @joshhall’s house. He’ll have to advise as to the availability of some or all of these for the duration of the Cranberry display (June thru mid-August).

Jonathan WagnerParticipantI will definitely be bringing the tub of white brick but I’ll also have 3 baseplates done with white mountain/cave thingies so it comes from the white tower and out to the other color areas.

Krista KModeratorBoth the children’s festival and arts fest are not happening for us this year. Those would be main two we’d need them for.

@rcgrier3406 I did forget that; thank you for the reminder. I should be able to go to Josh’s to pick those up sometime in the next two weeks.

Jim RolfeParticipantMy posts with pictures are not going through for some reason and I didn’t realize.
Sorry @timf, I was down in Bethel Park Saturday and offered to pick up the bricks if @joshhall was around. Didn’t realize it didn’t post. I can go down and get it if needed to make up for the problem.
Let me know.
On another note….anyone build with BURPS? I have never done this and want to ensure they look good at the end. The prototypes I have done are not satisfying me but I am determined to get these to work so if anyone has some experience, let me know. If I could post a picture I would and show you what I have so far. I can TXT pics or FaceTime if anyone wants to give some advice.
Thanks!

TimModerator@tcsbgdady no problem at all. I am just waiting to hear back from Josh as to his availability over then next two weeks. 🙂
May 12, 2025 at 5:17 pm #64315
JoshKeymasterSorry, swamped with life here.
We’ve got about 2 gallon bags each of yellow, blue, and red 2×4 bricks. Also a crate of 2×4 blue.
I’m available whenever you are. I can at least leave them outside if I am not home if you let me know when you’re thinking of coming.
May 13, 2025 at 5:54 pm #64354
TimModeratorThank you, Josh. I’ll email you. It will likely be sometime next week that I can make it down.
May 13, 2025 at 6:01 pm #64356
JoshKeymasterI can take it to Dave and busters Monday too-surely someone can messenger it if you can’t make it.
May 15, 2025 at 7:24 pm #64386
TimModeratorI am not going to be able to make the watch party Monday. Could someone get the bricks from Josh for Cranberry?
May 17, 2025 at 8:59 pm #64395
Jonathan WagnerParticipantHow early can we get into the Library on Saturday? Will we be able to get in earlier somehow?

JoshKeymasterMy fail for forgetting to take the 2×4. Will they be sufficient? Something else? Something more? Want them in a pile? Want them built as a floor?
May 20, 2025 at 10:08 pm #64428
Jonathan WagnerParticipantThose bags of bricks look perfect!
May 21, 2025 at 7:46 pm #64438
TimModeratorAgreed. Those bags of color are awesome!
May 22, 2025 at 7:41 am #64442
Jim RolfeParticipantI coulda used all that green brick!
May 26, 2025 at 6:20 pm #64518
TimModeratorI’m checking with the Library to see how early we can get in on Saturday. The Library opens at 10:00 am but often they will let is in 15-30 minutes early. I’m planning on being there around 9:30 am.
@tbrown00 will you already have your butterflies hung up before Saturday? Is anyone else planning on taking stuff to the Library before Saturday?
Much thanks in advance to everyone who will be contributing!
May 26, 2025 at 6:38 pm #64519
Jonathan WagnerParticipantBringing our stuff first thing as well, will be there at 930.
May 26, 2025 at 7:24 pm #64520
Tim BrownParticipantYes. I have 3 butterflies done. Those I’ll install on either Thursday or Friday. Sierra plans to display her new build Peacock (from the 3&1) so I may set that in there but we can take it out as we install. Still on my to do list is to gather up the flowers. We have plenty that can work as is/with a vase, but if I get the chance I want to make a way to create a full half-sphere of floral color to act as a cap to your tower.
May 26, 2025 at 7:26 pm #64521
Tim BrownParticipant@rcgrier3406, I’ll bring the M-Tron Ship/Galaga Sat morning to pass on for Mars.
May 31, 2025 at 12:22 pm #64577
Tim BrownParticipant@timf not seeing a shift link for this. Am I missing it or have we not set it up yet?
May 31, 2025 at 6:15 pm #64594
Bob GrierParticipantPictures from the install today have been uploaded to the Gallery. To view them, click on the Gallery link at the top right of any page, and then click on the 2025-05 Cranberry Library folder.
May 31, 2025 at 6:50 pm #64598
Greg SchubertParticipantIs the most recent folder from May 4th at the stadium?
