The first post of every single thread on the site has disappeared. I have no idea what that means or if it’s fixable.
Okay, so I didn’t check every single thread, but I checked a bunch of recent ones, and I did go and dig up the What the Heck is Ben Doing thread and the first post is gone. So something is up.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand… I just created this thread, and the first post is already invisible. I wasn’t smart enough to make a copy before submitting it, so if you didn’t get an email about it, you won’t be able to read it.

Sweet! Thanks, that was quick. Since I have no idea what would cause something like that – and from my end it seemed like an unusually bizarre issue – I was imagining the worst when it came to fixing it. It reminded me of that show The Leftovers, but with much lower stakes.

You mean the first messages got deleted, so you can’t get in the helicopter and go skiing with your friends so you have to spend your winter break with an old guy who smells badly and who apparently hates you?
