hi everyone. This is a 20 years old program similar to make a wish. Ran locally. I went to several of their events in 2017-2019 before covid shut everything down. Well this is our cup of tea they are having a LEGO bingo on Nov 2nd at noon. Is anyone interested in bringing a few display sets with me?

I had seen this event a while ago and thought about buying tickets for Alexis and I. Unfortunately we have some other scheduling conflicts and cant attend. Never even thought about the possibility of it being a LUG display.

I was thinking about going to the Train Show in Monroeville that weekend. Depending on my work schedule and some other things, I can come (Possibly Donna also) after the Train show , between 12 and 1. If so I can bring Wookie Monster and R2 the Grouch MOCS. I’ll have a better idea by Oct 29th

Can we buy tickets there or do they need to be purchased online?

Edit: Alternatively I can bring the Up-Scaled Minifigure 40649 set with the steel city logo hat

Yea it starts at 2. Would ideally be there by 1 pm or so to setup. Nothing complicated. Probably just one or two folding tables a table cloths and the Lego. I didn’t reach out to the person in charge of event till last weekend and told her I will see what we could figure out last minute events are def tough

We forgot to hand off my Lego last night after trick or treating but Adam was for sure intending on going. Not sure if he ever got the table cloth or not. Said it might just be him with a couple tables worth of Lego sets.

Yea it was a fun event. I picked up Tim’s Lego this morning on the way out there. Wasn’t quite a big enough hall given the turn out. I took a 8 ft and 4 ft folding table any more than that would have been tight especially when they ran over capacity for a few hrs. Added more tables for the paying crowd to play bingo.

This is a program we should
Try to be more involved with in the future. They do a lot of good work for families in terrible situations
And sick kids. They are private flight flown sick kids to Disney before. Then have done several trips per year for dozens of families per trip to Disney trips for sick kids and there families.
