    Hello all,

    I’m Michael — registered a few days ago, posted my introduction yesterday. I’ll be moving west this summer for work and thus am selling off my Lego collection this spring. I’m moving it out piecewise from where its been in storage, so I’ll post sets and bulk pieces/parts as I pull them should anyone be interested. Here’s the first:

    LEGO Castle Giant Chess Set #852293
    Used, good condition.

    I also have the Lego castle chess set (852001-1: Castle Chess Set) which I’ll post once I find it and assure its completeness.

    So of course I would love to own a copy of this since I enjoy both Lego and chess, but I am afraid to ask what you might want for it. Do you plan to list asking prices?

    Ooh, the #852293 costs a pretty penny online… probably not one for me.

    I’ve found that if I resize (using Photoshop) my pics to 1200 pixels wide, I can attach three per post here and the website doesn’t complain. Anything bigger than 2000 wide and I run into difficulty in a big hurry, so I’ve been doing it this way for a long time.

    With an eye towards having everything sold by the summer, I’m going to price at under the average used listing according to BrickLink’s guide (with a cursory check on eBay/Amazon/other valuations as well).

    e.g., LEGO Castle Giant Chess Set #852293 Used, good condition — $550 or best offer
    (BrickLink gives Min Price: US $300.00/Avg Price: US $631.43/Max Price: US $750.00)

    I’ll post again with photos and further listings later tonight, have to run now…
