I went to the Science Center on Wednesday to retrieve the Olympic display. As I was getting on the freight elevator, I saw a “Now entering Bricksburgh” sign. I asked if they dismantled everything but I was told that it was the “old” sign which had been sitting there for two years.

Cut to getting the sign into my tiny hatchback. How the Kragle would this be possible … especially since I had several boxes to load also ???

Clearly the “NOW ENTERING” part had to go using the boxcutter that I had. Laying it down flat only worked if I put the seats all the way forward. But then I could not even turn my legs past the steering wheel to reach the pedals!

Would you have given up at the point? Geometry to the rescue! I put the boxes in first, then angled the sign upward. Got it in … just barely.

Very well done! I love the “construction” aspect. It’s like the Fabuland characters are building their own “Miniland”.

Thanks Tim, and yes, it is a show being setup within the show! There are ten different characters including a cow building cows, the mouse placing cheese slopes, the fox using a drill and the pig in the farmer’s field. 😀

Who wants to build a LEGO Hall of Fame, near the Football Hall of Fame … or maybe just a coffee shop out of a church?

I made this blue sky background for an SW Randall display several years ago. (I am not sure it was ever used.) I’m wondering if it should be disassembled … can anyone think of a purpose for keeping it together?

It was definitely used. It was the background in all five phases from November 2018 to Jan/Feb 2019:
