Right but if it makes sense to be there, it will all still fit. The double stacked tables together just make it look a lil more uniform I guess. The Hoth snowfield to me really works best on a corner but it’s all good.
@jrbookworm wouldn’t be that difficult to move your table to between Tim and I and slide Kristin and myself down. Long as we still all have space to move and such.
The one from the 16th WAS shrunk down and sent to Todd. No pushback if I recall so that’s what we have to go with.
It still amuses me that they are saying we can’t have the space we need..how else can we display all the stuff we have? We are cramming the space as much as we can to fit as much as we have.
I wonder if they are wanting to have more group/collab type build things instead of individual to make things more uniform and epic. If so that’s fine, but be transparent about what your vision for this thing is to be.
I still need to get pictures and return a call. I think Mike (the other manager there) was hoping I could come out and see things prior to me heading to Florida (did not happen) BUT I do think they have a case for us. Potentially, as part of their Hot Wheels promotion they are doing, they would like some race cars and specifically a corvette made that would go in a case. They do have several cases throughout the venue but most of the time they have other things in them like prizes and such.
I’m going to call him back and get more details and figure out where things would be located, etc and what our options are and get photos sent to me.
We do not yet know the date for the Finale but it would be a fun time to share it all together there.
This is why discussion, I figured that would be the case (haha) so definitely something we need to express to them.
Finally got ahold of someone.
I put in for 20-30 but it can go up to 50 depending on those that just randomly show up. I said we liked being in that main area with both screens showing Lego Masters at 8 so we will be there a couple hours. Those that have kids that might want Power Cards will get them on their own and we don’t need a banquet style, we’ll order things individually.
It’s under my name, Jonathan Wagner. We will try and get there around 645 to make sure all is good.

I think it would still be worth contacting them even for a small group, because we want to make sure they have a dedicated space for us because we want to make sure we have a tv with sound. Since the manager asked you this past week about our return, I would even let him know that it’s not working out on Memorial Day, but that we’re still talking about coming back the following week.Good idea, I’ll call them today and let them know that we are thinking about next Monday.
Well then let’s plan for week 3 instead for whoever is interested and see what we see this coming Monday night!
Is it confirmed? Are we doing Dave and Busters again this Monday for the show?
I haven’t heard a lot of interest (like 3 or 4) from the LUG so unless a bunch of people suddenly say they would, I’m not going to call and reserve a space.

Because of time constraints, we would like to record/stream Episode 2 after the LUG meeting at Penn Hills Library. Along with that, since several LUG members have expressed interest in asking questions about Marcella and Krista’s experience, we would like to make the review also the Q&A for everyone as of this point in the season.
Due to PR requirements, questions for the most part must be restricted to the Episodes themselves and overall impressions of things, like the room itself when they first saw it, etc. To that end, if anyone is interested in asking a question (or 20) of our Pittsburgh Pals, post it here up until Wednesday, May 28th. That way we can send in questions to the PR people so they can go over them and approve or disapprove. I’ll be able to filter some being I’ve done this a couple times but they still come up with surprises.
We will still be able to take questions when we are live but they will have to be filtered as well within the guidelines we have been given by Fox’s PR team. So as many as can be pre-asked would be appreciated.

Also, is anyone interested in a reprise of Monday’s festivities this coming Monday night (Memorial Day)? The manager loved having us and wanted to know if we were going to come back. I said I would ask. I’m interested.
@lgbrickbuilder awww man you went home too early! We were chatting with the bartender about some things, specificaslly the current layout of the bar and he ended up giving us a tour of the back of the bar…the waaaaay back of the bar. There are rooms you wouldn’t believe that they have and use. Let’s just say we saw a water wheel, skeletons, BB-8, chandeliers and some opulent board rooms that Ben fell in love with. It’s a very interesting place.
Heading down as soon as I get home from work. Keith and his family are as well and MJ will be there too.
What a great night all, was awesome seeing so many come out and support and cheer on our Pittsburgh Pals. Myself and Marcella talked with Kevin (not the LUG Kevin) who is one of the managers at D&B and he asked if we were coming back next Monday to do the same thing. He expressed how happy he was to be able to host our group and loved having us there. I’m going to try later today to call and ask if there’s some way we can get maybe a lil discount or something if we decide to come back for another meetup and cheer. Stay tuned!
