You put in how much you need on their site based on the size (either baseplates or inches/feet) and they get you what you need. Steel City isn’t making tables available that’s all handled by them down there.

We’d love for you to participate in Librarycon, a major free community event for the Beaver County Library System! A member of your group, Jon Wagner mentioned Steel City Lug to us, and we were hooked!
Date: October 19
Time 12-3PM
Location: The Community College of Library and DomeOur libraries currently have 3 Lego clubs, and we’re hoping to grow that number. We believe that Librarycon would be a fantastic opportunity for you to connect with the community and help us grow some hype.
Jon and I are in communication about possible activities, and attraction locations to have available. We can provide you with booth space/tables/area to demonstrate Lego activities. We have two locations, (The CCBC Dome and The Library) that participants travel back and forth from. The Dome houses all of the vendors, organizations, costume contest, etc. And the library is a sensory friendly area with our Tiny Art Show, Therapy Bunnies, and it could be a great location for Lug’s larger, more intricate displays– can’t have LIBRARYCON without a library to rep.

Aliquippa, Pennsylvania 15001Last year I think we went down on Thursday. This year we’re planning on Wednesday. Last year was also the last year Zander could get in free, so since we’re paying for him this year we thought we’d maximize the time a little more. He had a blast playing mini golf and some of the games. We stayed at the Holiday Inn which was walking distance so we could take him back if he needed a break. There were also some kid friendly things in the area that Will and Zander explored when he needed a change of scenery during public hours. Otherwise he liked having the run of the place.
Kristin and I are planning on going down Wednesday then staying Thursday thru Sunday, probably head home Monday or Sunday night just depends.
@timf and I are going to look at the Hoth stuff next weekend and then start planning so we can display down there. I register he Hoth MOC but it did not have Steel City LUG as one of the ones we could choose to be with. How do we make it known that the LUG will be represented there?I have both the original 1984 King’s Castle and the 3-in-1 castle that could be used (both on display at Home and Garden).
@knb112 I assume that’s the big King’s Castle? Need help? lol
I would have some space, not just Star Wars but actual space, some old, some new. Can do the Galaxy Explorer and/or some old time space police or even Blacktron.
Registered myself and Kristin and got our hotel room blocked off at the Holiday Inn. Excited to go to this one and see everything and everyone.

I’m hoping/planning to go to this as well and display something, not sure what yet. Maybe I’ll convince @timf for us to take Hoth. Still have things to finish up for it and expand on.
Is the LUG planning on being in a group we much as possible?
I love space! So what all is involved/takes place for a Space Build? You choose a theme and boom, go for it? Collaborative or individual builds?
Kristin and I can help unload at Josh’s as well.

So do I need to do something special to access he new Inventory System? It goes to a user that was created 34 minutes ago. And the PAB Tracker goes to “Oops can’t find this page”

The LUG pieces are all in that blue ikea bag I brought and on the 4 plates I’m going to disassemble on Saturday. I used some of the 2×4 white blocks for my display at BrickFest so if you want to take off those that look newer from the 4 plates, all good.
My AT-ATs now have antlers! They are ready to bring Christmas Cheer and goodies to the citizens and not scare them in any way at all.
@timf I would only be able to do setup Sunday and Wednesday but that might work out as we can see what is already built and done and apply our stuff after. Do either of those work for you?
I’ll be bringing both AT-ATs and see where we can fit them in…maybe I’ll make them up some reindeer antlers.
Morning all, I see I missed a bunch of stuff over the weekend but I’m going to try to catch up on questions now.
@argonvesher I’m not opposed to the hoth display again, but I do want to change it up a bit from last year to make it fresh. I’m thinking we can do a scaled down version of Hoth? Do we still have all of the stuff from last year?Yep still have all the stuff from last year and some more that Tim and I did for Brick Erie. Possibly planning to make a project to finish it all up and make it even bigger but that will be for other displays.
This we could just do the base portion or half of it at the end of the town stuff, depending on how much room we have/how much stuff will be displaying. If there is enough room IN the town or open areas, could have both AT-ATs walking thru (not in a way that covers up any of the buildings, etc) towards the base and have snow speeders coming out to meet them. Just an idea.
Yep! And I had made…7 additional white MILs plates tho I took 2 apart…so there are still 5 additional I made.
I didn’t know it we wanted to do a battle of Hoth or not this year, figured that was up to everyone if they thought it was good to do.
I do have a second UCS AT-AT to add to it now tho ^^
