I feel like we need clarification, @greg. If this is still out there, and if it’s anywhere near as good a deal as they say it is, somebody needs to go get it!
When I first saw the listing, the location was the dealer-breaker for me personally, so I did not investigate further.
If it was me, and I did not get to go to Brickfair, and I lived in the South Hills, I would definitely hit up this yardsale … the day before it is scheduled.

I’m gonna agree with Pete on this one. Maybe that is passing as a ‘canyon’ in Kansas or something, but it’s looking like the world’s flattest canyon to me.

$100 seems cheap for the effort that must have gone into these – Slippery Rock is about an hour North of me, does the LUG want one of these for displays? It would be a LOT of storage space … could we partner with a library to store it?
If you have a truck to move it, this FIRST LEGO League table is reasonably priced, if you think your kids my ever get into the robotics competitions: It took me the better part of a day to build and paint one and I think the materials were about $50.

it looks fairly complete … might need a steering wheel, another door, an anchor … and I think this ship is supposed to have the cannons with springs that actually can shoot 1×1 round bricks

I will be going there this weekend. What would you offer for it? What would be the perfect display to place inside? Something from a planet that is completely yellow? (No thank you for the jokes on the color of Uranus.)
I’m curious as to what somebody might offer for it as well, since he gives no suggestions whatsoever.
And if somebody decides on it after Greg leaves town, I will be there the following weekend, in fact I should be driving right by there at some point, since my parents now live in Millersville.
