I do have one question. Are there any local lego conventions at all?

Hello, Josh. The closest annual convention is probably Brickfair Virginia (approx. 4.5 hours driving). There is a Brickfest planned for this November here in Pittsburgh at the Monroeville Convention Center.

Since our LEGO Users’ Group is local, and we have been to and headlined at others’ conventions here, I’ll ask: what would YOU want to see and do at a local LEGO convention?

I am looking for a new place to buy, but im also wanting to meet local collectors. Figured a place like that would be a good start

It is! We happen to have a dedicated Star Wars guy in @digivolution who I believe is looking to move some of his older sets. If I remember right.

There are no regular conventions, but we have regular quarterly meetings and this year Brickfest Live is coming to Pittsburgh in November.
