    Figured some people might like to know when we see contests.

    Deadlines:
    – Submission window starts now until 11:59pm PST Sunday March 31, 2013.
    – Voting will be open from April 1 through April 7, 2013.
    – Only one round of voting.

    I like the attention here; any contest that any of our LUG members enters should generate support from the rest of us. I am not personally interested, but it sure sounds neat, and I’d heartily support anyone else who entered… pretty much anything.

    If I had any time and any custom minifigs, I’d totally throw something together for the movie vignette contest:

    LEGO February & March 2013 Contest

    It ends Sunday night at midnight; so anyone with a few hours could probably whip something out…

    Josh, where was your E.T. pic posted?  Some other thread, apparently…? Didn’t someone say it had to be a movie at least 20 years old?  I don’t see that on the contest page there…

    LEGO Contest for September and October

    This Fall, the challenge is to build a model that is 1:1 scale. The size limit is one cubic foot. There is NO piece limit, but your model must not exceed the size limit (no overhang).

    Use your imagination to design a creation! Be creative, it could be anything! This contest will feature FIVE prize categories!

    I’m planning / building for three major displays in the next 3 months. I got no TIME for contest builds!!!

    But yea, this one seems pretty cool.
