It took a while to collect the pieces but it was well worth the scavenging I think. My son and I completed it (with 3 rebuilds for breakage) in about 7 hours. It stands about 20.5″ tall on the 1.5″ base, so it’s pretty impressive when done. If you build one, the positioning of the arms, head, tail, and legs really does matter for stability and sustainability! Be advised, the feet are a critical stability component and I had to reinforce them a bit as the heels kept breaking apart causing the whole MOC to fail. Overall, we had fun and it looks good I think. You let me know what you think! ?

Wow, even the base is made of LEGO! The base is so perfect that I assumed it was a single unit. Overall, a very impressive model.
