I don’t know if I mentioned this before but would anyone be interested in using a LUG bricklink account for parts wanted? This could be a resource for both LUG items needed but also personal projects. TThis could be a more efficient way to pplace orders. For example I recently was shopping in a bricklink store that had free shipping on orders over $50 and could have added parts for other LUG members if I had known what people needed.
I like the concept of this. I often find myself parting out several projects and then doing a few rather large bricklink orders. Something else we could use (this works well for newer or harder to find pieces) is Lego Bricks and Pieces. It is an amazing service that I use on occasion (and the best part is that you get VIP points)
