    What I meant by “it” was the stepping on bricks… the rest I totally agree with, but maybe it was the shag carpet in my room that softened the blows when stepping on pieces…?

    I didn’t step on pieces as much as I would get a strained back from sitting bent over on the floor. To this day, I refer to that pain as “Lego back”.

    ^Hell I still get “Lego legs” from sitting!   I just remember staring longingly at Lego catalogs as a wee lad.  To this day I still think they had better displays and artwork back then.
