Yesterday I went to see PennLUG’s annual winter train display at a car museum called America on Wheels. The trains do not continuously run, there is a starter button at each end of the display, one for each track. The display is in a room near the entrance museum, where a cashier and a volunteer monitor the flow of people, but the display is not directly attended by a person physically overseeing it.

I took 18 photos of LEGO at this museum and four photos of cars. 😀 Some feature of the display that I liked were the historical photos showing what certain models represent. Also they had a LEGO store with a Pick-a-Brick wall inside. My son enjoyed looking for the pervasive snails.

They did a great job blending the track curve into the pavement! And I always love to see the PennLUG broken piece dump.

We should ask how they’ve got their push buttons hooked up.

Thanks for sharing Greg! That was a nice collaboration between the two.

And I always love to see the PennLUG broken piece dump.

    One of my favorites too.

I am confident I could wire a push button contraption with a power outlet, if inspired…
