    Probably be 6:30 before I can get there. I’ll also bring the enlarged “Steel City LUG” logo picture (13″ x 19″) that we pinned up on the corkboard last time if you want to use it.

    @rcgrier3406 that sounds great. I will be there by no later than 6:30 (planning on being there closer to 6:00 pm this evening). Anyone else who wants to come, please feel free. Thank you!

    I could not make Thursday. Is there a set time on Saturday? 9:30AM still?

    I’ve been working on this one for a few weeks, but wasn’t sure I’d finish it in time for this display. I added Gandalf so that it would easily “fit” with the Tails and Tales theme – Thorondor, King of the Eagles, from Lord of the Rings. And yes, the wings do move!! I started with essentially the base and gearing from the recent Hedwig set, and then freelanced the rest.

    Did anyone take pictures of the display (either during set up or the finished product) that I could promote out on social media? Thanks! 😊

    @knb112
    , there are pictures of the finished display posted on my Flickr page. There’s a link to them in my post on June 5th (above), and they’re set as “public” so you should be able to download. If you have trouble, let me know and I’ll figure out another way for you to access them.

    Well, now, uh, Launcelot, Galahad, and I, wait until nightfall, and then leap out of the rabbit chicken, taking the French by surprise – not only by surprise, but totally unarmed!

    Having defeated the French, the chicken has decamped to join her flock at the Fayette county fair. (I’m going to be out of town for the official tear down so I picked her up early)

    Perfect! 😁

    Leave those chickens alone five minutes and they’re already storming another castle…

    Is there a certain time we’re meeting for teardown? I thought I heard 10? Maybe?
