So this may be an odd request. An undisclosed entity has requested instructions for one of my science-themed builds that have yet to be built in real life. I’ve elected to order parts, build it, and then make instructions based on the final result, post-track testing, etc. I’d mail them a copy of the paperback as a kind gesture for their outreach.
What I need but Studio doesn’t have is the PU train motor. Does anyone happen to have that as a custom part they could freely share with me so I can use it in the Studio generated instructions? I could make do with an older PF train motor if you have it as long as it doesn’t show the wire. I’d give you credit in the special thanks section of the books that use the part.
Right now I’m using the 9v train motor as a place holder in the model but I can’t use it in the final instruction. I need a PU train motor with the studs, front/rear clips, and axle hole connections modeled in Studio but I’m not familiar with custom parts.
If anyone can help, please let me know.
