@carlsonf that looks great!! One suggestion I would have for when you display it would be to bring one or two of the LDD cut-away views for the Reactor Building and annotate what some of the components are. That would help non-nuclear people (like me!) understand what they’re looking at!!

Josh shared the almost completed v2 on fb. E managed to get a Power functions motor running off the 9v train track that’s it’s installed on.
Definitely a fun project to get done, especially just using the parts available in the random bin.
Completed by @joshhall, @rcgrier3406 and myself. And thanks to @carlsonf for starting to sort that gia…[Read more]

@carlsonf, somewhere I recall that you had light bluish grey 1×1 bricks on your wish list. I think I have a thousand. I sent you a PM via SteelCityLUG.

Love the knolling, @carlsonf! And the photo makes a better parts reference for working on the rebuild than the one in the back of the manual. (I also saw a circuit board at first glance)
Great idea. I have printed out a two-page AP1000 Fact Sheet from the Westinghouse web page. Also I’m going to contact Westinghouse Communications to see if they would like to provide anything else. I also want to find a good image of the specific plant my model is based on, the Sanmen plant in China. It was the first AP1000 to become operational.
