I live in Fairmont, WV (about 20 miles south of Morgantown). You guys seem to be the closest Lego group around.

Regarding the trees, yes they are lime trees that are part of one set. The other trees (at the end of the lake and around the Constellation) are the Marx trees from the 50s.

Is the Ligonier show a large multi-group display? I’m unfamiliar with it. Where is it located? Also, where does the group meet? I see that it’s on Memorial weekend Saturday. If I’m available, may I join the group?

Thanks all for the warm welcome! To answer a few questions:
    1) the trees are not LEGO. They are actually Louis Marx playset trees from the 50s. Thought they looked good in scale.
    2) The giant ducks are a facsimile of the water rides you see in many places. I’m trying to recreate the Baltimore inner harbor look and feel (including the USS Constellation).
    3) As you can see, I’m really into the LEGO trains as well. While all are not motorized, many are and it’s fun/difficult to run several at a time on a single loop track!

I reduced the file size of some pictures. Hope they load!
