OK, thank you @randomdan. I’m keeping both days open for now and can likely do both if there is enough interest in both days. Hoping some more North side residents chime in here. ๐

Yikes, is it already the end of the March??? OK, give me a few more days and I’ll get a prelim layout. If anyone knows what space they need, let me know here ASAP and I will incorporate it in.

@mitchsbricks thank you for hosting another awesome Board Game session. We had six people attend and played three games. The first was a group icebreaker word association game which was more complex than it first appeared. As a group, we failed miserably the first time, but rallied the second time for at least a somewhat respectable score.…[Read more]

My son, Jacob, will most likely be coming with me as well. @mitchsbricks we’ll probably be there around 1:00-1:15 pm. I had forgotten that we have the Blessing of the Baskets for Easter on Saturday at Noon (it takes about 15 minutes).

So far, the “official count” is Mitch, Micah, and me. Anyone else planning on coming Saturday?

Wonderful. I am going to start working on a preliminary layout. Hope to have that together and will share here by end of the month(ish). We can then refine it from there based upon what everyone is willing to contribute.

Bumping this thread for discussion about the Cranberry summer reading display (see: https://www.steelcitylug.com/forum/topic/displayatallthelibraries/#post-57761 for additional reference).
Unless anyone objects, let’s move forward with a Castle theme and aim for installation on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

Welcome. Nice to have another north side member, especially here in the “far north” (both of us Tims live in Cranberry). Sorry to hear about your dad but glad that you reconnected with Lego and can build (pun intended) many memories with your son.
I really enjoyed your display at BrickFest and love your shirt!

I also have my physical card. Not ashamed to admit that it is partially held together with some tape. ๐

In 2017, the custom tile was 2×4 which was awesome. That is the only time I saw 2×4; otherwise it has been 2×2. Interesting that Fredericksburg used a 1×2. As you said, not much you can do with that small of a print surface.
