Finished up my build based on the design by “made with Brix” for the 3x 31120 Creator Castle. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-101775/Made%20With%20Brix/black-falcon-knights-castle-31120-medieval-castle-alternate-build/
It might just fit in the store display. An option maybe for after the holidays? @paulamalu

Does @paulamalu have any asks to coincide with going on for the store? When we had the big display the chess build and winter scenes really helped sell sets for the store that were stacked up near the display. The smaller display right now is near the Creator and Ninjago sets. Maybe there is something that helps the store and still displays a…[Read more]

What time does the mall open now? @paulamalu no chance in letting us in early like before?

AFOL Day is this weekend. It looks like LEGO sent out email invites this time if you’re registered. The mall recently extended their hours to 9 pm on Saturdays in case you were planning a trip.
@paulamalu are masks still required? I heard it’s up to each store now. Also, is there still a limit on the number of people in the store? Thanks! 😊

I don’t think I’ll need the cart @paulamalu. I’ll give Nicole a call once I’m in the parking lot to let her know I’m on the way in. I assume I can get in the mall entrance by the Cheesecake Factory.

Hi @paulamalu, I’ll plan to be there a little after 10 am so I can get in and out before you open. I have an 860 cell number for you, is that still good?

@paulamalu, how about this Sunday, 4/18? I see you open at 12 noon, so sometime before you open (like around 11 am) would work for me. Shouldn’t take me very long to swap the display out. Let me know, thanks!

Hi @paulamalu, couple of options (both Pittsburgh themed) to suggest for the next LUG display at the LEGO Store.
Option 1: Duquesne Incline. This one is essentially finished except for a couple of parts that are coming in this week, and is sized to fit into the current display case at the store. And yes, the cars do go up and down, not motorized,…[Read more]

@paulamalu, I’m glad to hear there is still ongoing appeal for the Pittsburgh Cityscape display from your guests. I’m fine with leaving it on display at the LEGO Store for a while longer if that’s what you prefer to do.

@paulamalu, what is this Lego store you speak of? There is a store that actually still has Lego on the shelf? Rare. Intriguing.
Anything new on this PAB Wall thingy? Asking for a friend…

These are in store now! I saw the Iron Man yesterday. The box looks awesome and I still think it’s a better deal to buy the set.
@paulamalu, you gotta build the 4 Marilyns and put em up behind Darth Vader! Totally Pittsburgh!

I posted pics of the current PAB parts Menu as of 6/21/20, and the way things will work now with COVID (per Paula), under the “LEGO Store Reopens on Saturday” thread on 6/21/20. I asked Paula about new parts, and she said at the time that it was unclear as to how often she would be getting them since not all of LEGO’s manufacturing facilities are…[Read more]

Thanks @paulamalu. Will I be able to get in at 10:00 am, or do I have to wait until the Mall opens at noon? I’d prefer to get in before if possible (Father’s Day you know). If I can, PM me with how to get in touch with you.
Thanks!

Hi @paulamalu, looking for your thoughts on timing for installing the Pittsburgh Cityscape as the LUG display now that the store has re-opened. Thanks!

@paulamalu, what unique parts are in the Build-a-Minifig tower now? Among others, I’m interested in the Vitruvian Man torso, and the torso with the blue crystal on it. Does the store have these torsos in those bins now?

I’ve been playing around with a downtown Pittsburgh microscale layout that would fit in the current display case at the LEGO store, and have made pretty good progress over the past couple of weeks. Current dimensions on this layout are 18 3/4″ wide by 14 3/4″ deep. This will fit into the 20″ wide by 15″ deep case. Height is not an issue, as we…[Read more]

@paulamalu Thanks as always for planning a great AFOL day for us. As others have said, Jason and Lori did a great job hosting for us. Penelope missed you! Hope you are feeling better.
