@bacon1986 that’d be great! Thank you so much. Let’s definitely connect at some point in person since you are so close. I can get back to you closer to the event to arrange drop off/pick up. I know these will be a hit.

Krista would you have any interest in doing this at Bayne Library in Bellevue? My wife works there as a youth coordinator and is starting a LEGO club there…and I’m sure there would be interest in collaborating?

I teach web design and digital publishing. I enjoy CCAC. It seems like they’re having a ton of enrollment and retention issues. One startling thing I learned since joining was that out of a class of 20, half will fail because of a lack of engagement, like no-showing, not doing the work, etc. I’m always promoting vacancies with Community Ed. How…[Read more]

Hey @joshhall I’m going to get the payment running soon – we’ll just indefinitely delay this until Pitt gives us direction on events.
Also, Pitt Times wants to do a story on our event.

Nope. Not me. I’ll very rarely show you all things I’m working on because I have no LEGO confidence in comparison to you all. I KNOW I know don’t even go there. I just saw it on social media randomly. I don’t recall which platform. He should definitely be in our house, though.
I burned the Pitt Times on this for not covering our news but covering…[Read more]

@greg drop off can occur the night before. we’ll lock all the models in my office and set them up that friday morning. Sennott is a relatively open and public space even in the evenings so I’d advise against set up the night before.

Hey @bengood921 thanks for catching that. I’ll fix it. The whole page is kind of fluid at the moment. Skip isn’t totally confirmed, so there will likely be some changes. You are all welcome to share it with any parties that may be interested, just kindly request they keep it close to the chest until we do our formal announcement – probably next month.

Hi @rachelh !
The primary audience for this event is University of Pittsburgh students, 18-24, though the event is open to the public. Specifically, this grant was funded under the premise of serving the Pitt undergraduate and graduate business students, with a secondary audience of the broader campus. That’s the audience(s). These are students…[Read more]
