Pirate mini golf is great!
I mean… it’s on par with Ninja mini golf, or space mini golf… maybe not quite up there with #GlowZone mini golf, tho.

That is an interesting question. It seems like a robotics team / class clearance sale. IDK Are the parts worth $900?

David Bacon replied to the topic The craigslist thread in the forum BUY / SELL / TRADE! 6 years ago
Ummm, this isn’t @solscud007 trying to sell Power Functions is it? Do we need $900 worth of Power Functions for the LUG?

If anyone in Cranberry ( @timf @solscud007 ) cares to pick this up for me, I’ll repay you. Just verify that the red-headed minifig is in it.

Thanks, greg. I emailed you about wed.
@laura Since we will be in the big room, I adjusted the Bluebrick to make each area a little larger, especially the farm area. Now 7 tables.
@solscud007 ferris wheel too?

Tom Frost replied to the topic Halloween Theme in the forum Events 7 years, 7 months ago
Ok here is a bluebrick I made for PT on Saturday using 5 tables.
There are three major areas:
1) a farm area featuring @laura ‘s Farm stuff, @timf ‘s cornfield/maze, Pumpkin patch? @pete ‘s hayrides and I was thinking maybe fall festival w/rides.
2) trick or treat area with houses & road.
3) spooky area with @timf ‘s cemetary, @skippermike…[Read more]

I got some information from Chad. They’re limiting Maker badges again so we’re going to need to register all Makers/helpers. We need a solid headcount ASAP.
As for the orientation they’d like as many people to attend as possible, but if you can’t email Chad (so they have it on record) and one of us who attends can explain what they go…[Read more]

As far as I am aware, people ARE willing to contribute these:
Hannah: Vampyre Castle 9468
LUG supply: Ghost Train 9467 (Tom is customizing and motorizing with Power Functions)
@timf: cornfield & cemetery
@tfdesigns: monster fighter sets (possibly 9461, 9462, 9463, 9464, 9466)
@greg: farmhouse, trick-or-treaters
@skippermike: haunted house (I have…[Read more] -

@JoshHall – There was a white camper van and a black SUV (from the horse trailer set) left on your kitchen counter. @solscud007, @greg, @tfdesigns, @pete and I were trying to figure out whose these were. I’ve checked my vehicle inventory and those are mine. Can you please hold for me? Thanks and sorry for any inconvenience.

I’ll try to summarize the Haunted / Halloween display thread for the purpose of a Q3 discussion.
First, where and when would this display be? @laura, would you anticipate adequate staffing for the Pumpkin trolley museum? Another venue on the horizon is the Greenberg Train show. Hannah suggested combining this Halloween theme with existing…[Read more]

Thanks, @solscud007, that is helpful; I don’t think I saw that studs-forward car. Did your test car run okay? My design uses a similar sized wheel part

according to @solscud007 ‘s rigid environment controlled experiments at the children’s festival, he believes weight isn’t as much of a factor on our track with LEGO. No weight limit. I will repeat myself and say it’s double elimination though…meaning, your car needs to be able to go down the track, at least twice…there may be a mandated stop…[Read more]

I would simplify this even further and just have us build part of the frontstretch (no curves). That would simplify things immensely.
I have enough black brick to build a frontstretch section of the racetrack. We would then need Grandstand sections, pit lane, garage area (underneath the Grandstands), perhaps a refreshment stand (also…[Read more]

I’d advocate using what we already have to get the best effect for the least amount of work. This includes road baseplates with 2-6 straight roads and 4 turns to make a closed loop.
If it is possible to get a 10″ x 30″ (32 stud x 96 stud) hill section of the ravine, it can go on squares 4, 5 and 6.
Unless someone else has a bunch of cars, I…[Read more]
