It might be late notice, but I am working at the comic store in West View this Thursday night. It’s officially an open table night at the store if we want to do a game night.

I have a full set, other than the Moon Knight minifig that Coop has claimed.

@mrmain18 are you picking these up at Brickfest or Cranberry?

Apparently, I’m picking up at Brickfest. Can I Venmo you?

Thanks, Jim! I’m out of town for the weekend, but I can send payment electronically if it helps.

I buy instructions and parts lists (and create want lists on BL from them) on Rebrickable all the time. This seems like a nice supplement to all the other instruction sites out there, just without any IP MOCs.

    $48 for complete
    $44 for one missing Wolverine

I will take a full set if it’s still available. Thanks!

@tcsbgdady How much is the full set vs the set minus Wolverine?

To be bluntly honest, I don’t think this is a “send random stuff over” kind of thing. This group is very big on the builder being present to talk about their work. The producers were very interested in the Kyle and Lia have similar builds/interests, know of each other, but have never actually met in-person thing.

The show producers are looking forward to hearing from you.

I have the parts and stickers for all of the Scarlet Patronus DA MOCs. They fit really well with the last DA set. They are all on Rebrickable.

There’s going to be a lot of confused Pokémon Sunday kids.

I am all for doing something with K&J as I spend a lot of time and money there. I just don’t see the point of doing a Star Wars-only thing that far removed from “Star Wars Day.”

When is (free) comic book day? That might work too. Karl told me they are adding two more rows of back issues. That might affect how much space we would have.

Free Comic Book Day is Saturday, May 6.

Worth Noting I have one multiple Justifiers that all had the figs removed, I had bought the protection so I got my money back but it seems sets with valuable figures are not worth trying to get through this site

That’s exactly why I have balked at sets like that one and the Daily Bugle from there.

I’ve found M@C to not be worth the hassle. Their fees are astronomical and you never know what you will actually get. If I lived closer to one of their warehouses so I could inspect prior to bidding, that might make a difference.

I love K&J and go there all the time! It’s a stone-throw from my house (or it would be if I were still an athlete). I asked Julie about possibly doing something at the store a while ago. She mentioned that she knew RJ and the event(s) at Bayne. I just kind of let it lie after that. As of right now, I’m available that weekend and can take over this one. I can always fill the place with just my junk if the LUG doesn’t want to formally do something.

I would be willing to go $25 on the lot, but not much more than that.

I never said it was a safe walk…just walking distance.

Nice to meet you tonight, Courtney! (Who lives within walking distance of @knb112)

We pulled everything out of the bags and are amazed with the details in this set. That must have been one heckuva crash! Coop is excited to get started!

Cooper and I are interested in helping out. We are in the north hills as well, but we are leaving town for a week tomorrow (Friday) morning.

I can ask my son if he would be interested in helping (with me “assisting” him), but it probably wouldn’t be for free. He may want a Target or Lego Store gift card.

Wait a minute… There’s a ‘Contact’ link right at the top of the site (which incidentally is way easier to notice than the ‘Disclaimer’ section I mentioned in the previous post). It takes you right to a form that you can fill out and submit.

I see that now, but where does that message go? Is there an info@steelcitylug.com or anything similar that can be used as a catch-all for this kind of thing?
