Those track and switch numbers still sound good @pnbrenem. We’ll use yours primarily in the rail yard in lieu of some of the LUG Bases where the track isn’t fully ballasted.
The table layout is 18 ft. wide by 10 ft. deep. I’m pretty sure the retractable belts go out 6 1/2 ft. from each post, so if you can bring 10 stanchions, that would give us…[Read more]

@pnbrenem, thanks as always for offering your MILS’d track bases and ballasted track to supplement the LUG’s stock.
Tim is confirming with the Science Center this week that we want the same space and number of tables that we had last year. Assuming that gets confirmed and we go with this layout:
* I did a quick count, and with the stuff we…[Read more]

We’ll need to get the large curves from Josh. @pnbrenem is your track available for use?

One of the things that Tim and I have talked about is doing a “lessons learned” from this event to capture what went well, what didn’t, and where we can make improvements to the MILS’d components before the next time. The Home and Garden Show in early March is a good next candidate for these, although I would expect it will be more city and less…[Read more]

@bengood921 Thanks for the information. I was just looking online and saw several examples using the 4×4 plates on top. Here is one example from brick train depot.
https://www.bricktraindepot.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Cams-Brick-MILS-BTM-Green.pdfI was just curious is there was an advantage of using lots of smaller plates on top, rather…[Read more]

looks great! @pnbrenem and I were just talking about how the lug could benefit from a large scale landscaping mils, rather than just trying to focus on only town buildings and streets. Some 3D topography with rolling hills/farm/paths/streams/forest/etc.

@pete told me he picked up the wooly mammoth set for $60 at bethel park walmart. @pnbrenem told me there was a copy today, so I decided to pay it a visit. I picked up a party bus for $64 (retails for $80) and the wooly mammoth set, which was labeled for $60. When I checked out, the wooly mammoth came up to retail at $120. I had to go to…[Read more]

@pnbrenem is the new brick czar, so as long as he’s fine with it, We’ll make them available for redemption saturday.
Also looking to get rid of the ninjago backdrop that @arcadiumsol brought over, unless he just wants to take it back. Not sure if we have any die hard ninjago fans that would love it in their room or not…
