LUG, I’ve got a friend in Cranberry who is interested in selling their used original Eiffel Tower Lego set #10181. It has almost all of the pieces. Missing about a handful of them and they are all common pieces. Original box and instructions are included. Asking price is $200. Is anyone here interested?

That microscale MOC is beautiful. PNC Park looks especially good with the three bridges next to it.

Better than PayPal Shipping (formerly ShipStation) for yer Bricklink sales?

    I haven’t tried PayPal shipping, so I wouldn’t know.

I have been using Pirate Ship for a number of months now. It gets me the same prices for UPS and USPS as Ebay does. I’ve used it a lot for Bricklink sales. Very easy to use interface is a plus.

So it says…and there was much rejoicing

I don’t know. The reference link is dead and when I Google “Pittsburgh Legoland Discovery Center” I do not get any valid hits.

@mitchsbricks Looks like the link is missing from your post. Thanks for putting the Discord server together.

Pittsburgh, this is why we can’t have nice things.

Meh, I swore vendetta against peppi’s years ago…

Haha, @greg did you notice the other face reflection when you took the picture? He looks a bit concerned at the Peppi’s sign you photographed.

RJ, I live pretty close to Bellevue and would love to contribute. I don’t have many MOCs built, but I do have my “Neighborhood of Make Believe” trio of Brickheadz I could add.

@tcsbgdady I’d like a set of the Muppets figures. Looks like Minifigure Maddness is pre-selling them in sets of 6 complete sets (assuming each box has three complete sets). So I’d be happy to be the 6th person for yours if you purchase that way, or to purchase another set of 6 to distribute.

Anybody in the market for a Hogwarts Great Hall set, 75954? I have a friend selling their used copy. All pieces (but one Light Bley 2×4 slope, 3037) are included as well as minifigures, instructions, and a mildly damaged box.

What exactly is frustration-free packaging for LEGO? Either way, it’s a fun set that I was told has a 4th build too.

Usually means they slap a shipping sticker on the box directly and ship it out to you. Should be re-branded to “Frustration-Inducing” Packaging.

Target has the same deal, and if you have a RedCard, it will save you almost all of the taxes.

I was just at the airport a couple weeks ago, but did not venture down concourse B. For all the physical stores that are closed in that airport, this kind of makes sense. Who is in charge of restocking it I wonder? Paula? Or just some direct Lego dealer that travels around the country?

I did not end up buying.

I don’t know what happened to it. I posted, then went to edit so I could add a picture, and now my post is gone. Haven’t felt like typing it out again. You can see the Craiglist post here: https://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/tag/d/pittsburgh-massive-lego-star-wars/7331996364.html So many questions though.

This Craigslist Post caught my eye. An AFOL being forced to part with their collection?

But wait, “If they don’t sell for a fair value, I get to keep them.” I am confused, is this person selling or not?

“[Y]ou are welcome to come and buy what you want individually. Price for individual sets will be 15% off market value.” Sounds fair, but not really a Craigslist deal. But wait, “Minimum spending amount is $500. Don’t want to spend an hour with you window shopping in my home just to buy a $50 set.” Minimum is $500? How much is this person selling, or not selling?

I will add captions and comments later but here is a link to see pictures from our day at Legoland New York on May 28th. https://photos.app.goo.gl/rcassHoSKKwVJs6B9

Summary: A bit underwhelming to be honest. Around half of the rides were open, and the rain at 4pm caused three of my kids to miss out on Driving School. The employees were all excited and pleasant. I was impressed with the Factory Tour ride with autonomous vehicles (and glad that we could do that while it was raining outside). Miniland is still a work in progress with none of the interactive features working yet. Also, there are a lot of areas where the long circuitous path is frequently skipped by kids running shortcuts through the growing grass.

Bacons are going on Friday, the last of the First to Play preview days. 5/7 areas are expected to be open. City and Pirates will be closed.

Tickets are now open to the general public to reserve a day from May 29 – June 20. They will only have 6/7 areas open. Pirates is opening later.
